150th Logo is traveling
The Blue Ridge Parkway is celebrating its 75th anniversary this year. Each county that touches the Blue Ridge Parkway has been asked to participate in the celebration. One of the ways the counties are contributing is by creating a quilt square that is depicts certain aspects of their county. Since Transylvania County will be celebrating the 150th anniversary it was natural to use the 150th logo. Think It Studio a local, graphic and web design firm designed the logo for Brevard/Transylvania County 150th celebration.
Doris Raines a native Brevardian, created the quilt square. It will be sent it to the Parkway Anniversary Committee on Friday.
